Kwoon is a Chinese term meaning "school" or "training hall" for Chinese martial arts. It is a formal facility to conduct training, examinations, and other related practices.

 

Dojo is the Japanese equivalent, serving the same purpose as the Chinese kwoon in most respects.

 

The kung-fu kwoon is a special place for its students. It provides both a center for learning and development and a haven of support, guidance and fellowship.
